Organization of the Notariat

The territorial jurisdiction of the 33 regional councils or interdepartmental chambers in place, generally corresponds to the courts of appeal located in mainland France and overseas. These regional bodies represent the notaries within their jurisdiction before the political and judicial authorities of the Court of Appeal. They carry out various functions relating to the organization of the profession, at the regional level and in particular the coordination of training actions for notaries.
